2008 starts with a lot of new functions, tools and other improvements.
See here what we have done:
New Functions:
- Recorder function: now it's possible to record your loop-events and paste them during the show is running. Create your shows in a very short time. Save your own individual effects in a list and grab them whenever you want...After you paste them in your show – edit and adjust them however you want.
- CURVE-Recordfunction: In all Curve-Windows you will see the running Time cursor now. Also it is possible to record the up and down-moves of your mouse, Midi- or DMX-sliders.
- Add RGB-Functions in PicEdit and Real Time
- Add a RGB-Coloreffect-Generator for individual wonderful Color effects.
- Add a Video-Note-Event. Send a video-message to the people behind the stage. You don't need to create a video for that. Just type in whatever you want to say.
- Add an event-list next to the timeline. You can drag and drop the events now. And sort the events by yourself.
- If / GoTo Event: For fix-installation you will love this little tool. Program different time situations in your show. The time cursor will jump automatically to the right position.
- Add SMS-4-Laser (not finished yet for all Mobil phones! – we are still working on that)
- Protected CAT-Files are possible now. (Protect your individual Pictures with a password)
Further more we did:
- Improved the output quality. The output is more smooth now.
- New Layout of the main-page
- Change some things in the preview-window. You can setup your lasers much better now. (Invert X/Y)
- Add a special “DMX / Special-Effect”-Timeline. From now on, all your DMX / Special effects will be on a separate timeline. On this way the programming will be more clear for the user.
- Fixed some little bugs in the Time Threads. PHOENIX runs more stable now
- Added Medialas- USB-Interface. Use the USB-Interfaces of our new Distributor in Germany. If you have Mamba already – you can use your old interface for PHOENIX now!
- Added different LAN-Interfaces. LAN-Interfaces becomes to the most stable and best output-quality interfaces now. (16 Bit Output on X/Y)
New Tools / Programs in the PHOENIX-Family
- Launched the new PHOENIX-Max Converter Program. Convert your existing 3D Max Files into ILDA-Files
- Launched the new PHOENIX-LIVE Software. The most easiest way to have a professional Laser show in your club / discotheque. Without any knowledge you will be able to create your own laser effects, use all functions and create your own pictures – in a very short time!!! That's a promise!

- Each RunText Event can be assigned to an own world.
- The Static Effect works fine now. You can program an effect, like fog, without that
the Show get interupted,
- The Beam-Event got added. It is now possible to add single Beams to your show.
You can adjust the color of the Beam and set the world in which the Beam should be.
- The Touchscreen works now right. The Touchscreen also gets a "Laser - On/Off"
Button. Some new usefull sliders, as "Speed" and "Change Color" have been added.
- If you change a value in the Curve-Animator, you see now the result in real time in the
Event. So it is much more easier to synchrone a show to the music.

show on a flash card, which you can stick in the EASY-Player

You can choose now between Laser- and DMX-Output.
You are able to open the "DMX-Setting"- and "DMX-Live"-Window through it.
And also the DMX-Output can be de-/activated.
- The color-arrangement for all surfaces is now adjustable individual and get stored.
- In the Sequence-Window in the DMX-Part a Scroll-Bar was added
for the "Speed Option". It is easier to work with it now.
- All window sizes can be enlarged and moved now.
- The Showplayer is now more user friendly. Some new Functions inserted.

- Copy and Paste of an Event works again
- Permanent Interface-Control - the interface get
recognized immediately again after it was taken off. The driver for the interface
has to be installed again! Windows-Hardware -> USB-Card -> Update Driver ->
Chose new Driver from: "C:\Laser\PHOENIX-USB\..".
- Non return to Zero-Function (DMX-Channel) has been added.
- Joystick-Function is now also included in Steps.
- The Window size is now changeable (Group, Scene etc.).
- Add DMX Event has been finished.
- The Events "Dimmer" and "Fade in / out" have been added.
- A lot of different improvements in the DMX-Part.
- Memory-pathes can be created now flexible
- Only 1 instance of PicEdit can be open at the same time.
- The Showplayer has now a new calender function and some new functions.
- Live-Controlling over the Midi-Keyboard works now fine.
